Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For assistant engineer post, the payable salary will be Rs 75,000 - 92,300, for technical assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 50,000, for section officer post, the payable salary will be Rs 63,000, for exhibition assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 45,000 and for office assistant and computer operator posts, the payable salary will be Rs 29,200 - 30,000 per month. - Assistant Engineer - {B.E/ B.Tech in civil engineering with minimum one year of professional experience)
- Technical Assistant (Civil) - {a three years diploma in civil engineering or B.E in civil with minimum one year of professional experience}
- Section Officer (Finance & Accounts) - {B.Com with minimum two years of experience in finance}
- Exhibition Assistant - {a graduate degree in fine arts/ diploma in multimedia}
- Office Assistant/ Computer Operator - {12th pass with typing sped of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer}.
Selection Method - For recruitment in the National Council of Science Museums, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in the skill test or computer based test and then personal interview. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.
